Refund and Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: June 3, 2026

This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains the general approach of Cedarline Local Growth Studio ("Cedarline," "we," "us," or "our") to consultation requests, paid services, cancellations, and refund requests.

1. Free Initial Inquiry

Submitting the website contact form, sending an email, or calling Cedarline to discuss a potential project is free. A contact request does not create a contract and does not require payment.

2. Written Confirmation Before Paid Work

Cedarline does not accept payments directly through this website. Before any paid service begins, the client will receive a written scope, price, expected timing, and applicable payment terms through a proposal, invoice, statement of work, or written email confirmation.

The client should review and approve these terms before making a payment. If a written project-specific agreement contains terms that differ from this general policy, the project-specific agreement will control to the extent permitted by applicable law.

3. Cancellation Before Work Begins

Unless a written project agreement states otherwise, a client may cancel a paid service before Cedarline begins substantive work and request a refund of amounts paid, minus any non-refundable processing fees actually charged by a payment provider and any clearly disclosed administrative or scheduling fee, if applicable.

Cedarline will explain any deduction before issuing the refund.

4. Cancellation After Work Begins

Once substantive work has started, fees for work already completed, time already spent, research already performed, meetings already held, and deliverables already prepared are generally not refundable.

If a project is cancelled before completion, Cedarline may review the work completed and determine whether any unused portion of a prepaid amount can reasonably be refunded. Any approved partial refund will be calculated in good faith based on the scope completed, time spent, and commitments already made.

5. Completed Consultations

Fees for consultations that have already taken place are generally non-refundable. This includes scheduled strategy calls, review sessions, and advisory meetings that have been completed.

If the client believes that an agreed consultation was not delivered as described, the client should contact Cedarline promptly so that the concern can be reviewed.

6. Digital Deliverables

Digital deliverables may include review notes, written recommendations, action plans, content direction documents, or other consulting materials. Once a completed digital deliverable has been delivered, the related fee is generally non-refundable because the client has received access to the work product.

If a deliverable contains an error or does not reasonably match the agreed written scope, the client should contact Cedarline within seven calendar days after delivery. Cedarline will review the concern and may correct, clarify, or revise the deliverable where appropriate.

7. Client Delays and Missing Information

Clients are responsible for providing information reasonably required to complete the work. If a project is delayed because requested information is not provided, Cedarline may pause the project. A delay caused by missing client information does not automatically qualify for a refund.

If a project remains inactive for an extended period, Cedarline may contact the client to determine whether the work should resume, be rescheduled, or be closed under the applicable written agreement.

8. Rescheduling

A client who needs to reschedule a consultation should provide as much notice as reasonably possible. Cedarline will make a good-faith effort to accommodate a new time based on availability.

Repeated last-minute cancellations, missed appointments, or rescheduling requests may be subject to a reasonable fee if that fee was disclosed before booking or included in the written project terms.

9. Missed Appointments

If a client misses a scheduled consultation without reasonable notice, the consultation fee may be non-refundable if the appointment time was reserved and Cedarline was available to provide the service. Cedarline may offer rescheduling at its discretion.

10. Refund Requests

To request a refund or discuss a concern, contact Cedarline using the information below. Include your name, contact information, the service purchased, the payment date, the reason for the request, and any relevant documents.

Cedarline will review requests individually and respond in good faith. Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method when reasonably possible. Processing time may depend on the payment provider or financial institution.

11. Chargebacks

Clients are encouraged to contact Cedarline before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback so that any issue can be reviewed promptly. This provision does not limit any lawful consumer rights or rights provided by a payment issuer.

12. Exceptions Required by Law

Nothing in this Refund and Cancellation Policy limits any non-waivable rights available under applicable law. Where applicable law requires a different result, Cedarline will comply with that law.
